Hospice of Orleans, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, non-judgmental, good listener to serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team in the capacity of Spiritual Care Coordinator.  This 10+ hour per week position reports to the CEO and is responsible for the development, review, evaluation, and implementation of a comprehensive, non-denominational spiritual care service for Hospice patients, their families, and community members.  The Spiritual Care Coordinator evaluates the spiritual care needs of patients and their loved ones, and coordinates the delivery of spiritual care with area clergy.  S/he provides counseling, support, and spiritual guidance including listening, and assistance with prayer, meditation, scripture reading and study.  Provides special awareness and assistance in the identification of the religious and spiritual needs and stresses of patients and families as they experience dying, death, and bereavement.  Candidate must embrace the hospice philosophy and be a team player focused on providing exceptional quality of care.   BS degree and at least one-year training in clinical pastoral education and/or pastoral care ministry required.  Please send your resume, references, and cover letter by April 6, 2018 to: Hospice of Orleans, Inc.
