Keep fit while supporting a good cause! Take part in the Hospice of Orleans 2nd Annual Memory Walk. Held at 10am on May 17th at Mount Albion Cemetery, located 1 mile east of Albion. Join us for fun at the Lyndonville Independence Day Celebration for this annual fundraiser and cheer along your favorite Duck as it races to the finish line. Our 10th Annual Ducks Ahoy Race will commence at 3:00 pm at the Main Street Bridge in Lyndonville, NY. "Duck Tickets" are available at the Hospice Office, 14080 Route 31 West in Albion. $5 for a single duck, $25 for a family of 6 ducks, $40 for a flock of 10 ducks, and $100 for a flock of 25 ducks. | 2007 Annual Ducks Ahoy Race: |

On July 4th, over 1000 ducks hit the water swimming their little plastic hearts out for Hospice of Orleans in an annual fundraising event sponsored by the Lyndonville Lions Club and held at the Lyndonville bridge. The ducks raised over $5000 for Hospice. Eight lucky winners also ended the day a few dollars richer as cash prizes ranging from $50 to $500 were given out. Once the ducks are washed and put into dry dock for the winter they'll be ready to and raring to race again! |

July 18th, 2007, marked the 11th annual Hospice of Orleans Golf Scramble. Held at Hickory Ridge Golf Course, this event is one of the best attended fund-raising events in the area. With 46 foursomes (and many more wanting to get in!) the golf tournament raised over $12,000 for Hospice of Orleans. Entrants had a great day - along with goodie bags and great food, they also enjoyed picture-perfect weather. Congratulations to all our golfers for helping Hospice help those who need us in Orleans County. Start planning your foursome for next year's event! |
