Patients and families who choose Hospice of Orleans make a decision to spend their remaining time together in a caring and familiar setting. With Hospice's supportive services, there comes a sense of relief when trained professionals offer care. Patients and families are directly involved in the management of pain and symptom control. Hospice realized more could always be done to bring comfort and dignity to those dealing with a terminal illness.

Home-based care is the core of the Hospice of Orleans program. The patient and family are involved with the Hospice team in an individualized care planning process, which is uniquely tailored for each patient. There are also special programs that contribute to Hospice's uniqueness, including bereavement support, a respite program, Transitions program, and spiritual care. Our volunteer program adds to the flexibility and complete service we are able to provide.
